i suffered the same with my tpms telling to 'check all pressures' constantly but the iidtool turned that off and what a relief..

Non professional faultmates are VIN locked as well.

Some independent mechanics, with tools like the IID can do it for you. Mine was resistant in case I was ever in an accident and blamed a loss of control on poor tyre inflation. I ended up emailing him the info on how TPMS was not a required safety feature for cars in Canada. Any place where it is a requirement, a professional mechanic won't want to turn it off. |
