Detachable tow bar

Hi chaps, Quick one for you. My FF came with a detachable swan neck tow bar but no key.
If its a genuine land rover one can i order a key for it or a whole new lock?
Cheers in advance!
Very Happy

No, you will have to go to Westfalia and pay them a large deposit and they will send you a set of keys, you try them all and when you send them back with the correct key identified they will then sell you one and return your deposit Thumbs Up

And NO!!! the key number on the lock will not surfice unfortunately Big Cry

My last FFRR was missing the towbar key, I took the car to a local towbar fitting garage (Westfalia agent) and they used their set of keys to identify the right number, paid them £17 and a week later the correct key arrived to my door in the post. All nice and easy, they even did the laborious try each key in turn bit and no large deposits to pay Very Happy

Look up your local towbar Westfalia agent and they should be able to offer the same service Thumbs Up Should've been old enough to know better...doh!

Cheers B9er. I'll look into that.
Craig I was going to unbolt the receiver then drill out the lock on the bench.

Before you take it for a key fit spray the lock with WD40 or similar from now until you try the keys as it will be full of crap and keys won't turn
