Interesting. I have the spoiler and built in camera as sourced from the bay, but no loom. I will hunt around as well and see if I can find anything. Tom

dont think you need a loom ...the cable between the camera and the rear screen input is just normal video cable you get on house hold cctv..this is the cable i used when i fitted a camera to my smax and it worked fine..obviously the power cable from the spoiler/camera will go to your reverse lights..

I have fitted a rear camera on my MY2005 touch screen RR, but I did not fancy doing the wiring.
Booked in at local indy LR dealer only to be told the configuration on my RR could not be changed to get camera to switch when in reverse.
Is this because he will be using the dealer diagnostic? Am I right in thinking that the faultmate or other diagnostic can change this config
If so is there anyone In the Banbury area that could enable it for me for a fee?

thanks

Just an update to those doing the retrofit, you can activate the rear camera mode on the IID tool. So that when you put the car in reverse the nav unit switches to the camera automatically! Tom

Hi, Flashman
Did you (or anyone else) crack this issue and retro-fit a reversing camera to a 2005--> Fatty with the Touchscreen MOST system?
If I have understood correctly, the camera feed for this model goes directly into the Head Unit, which has to be enabled. I have a IID tool so this should not be a problem.
But what about the choice and location of the (NSTC) camera, and how to run the cable to the Head Unit? I’d be interested in hearing of the experiences of anyone who’s done this. Bow down
Thanks in advance Thumbs Up It's "bĂ©bĂ©choon", ackcherly, with accents. 'Steve' to my chums.
20 years ownership of Solihull products, ALL GONE NOW, sniff!
Current motor: Suzuki S-Cross 4WD auto, 1.4 petrol. Oh so reliable! 7 years now and no problems. Oh, all right then, a leaking shocker replaced under guarantee.
