I know Smile However I think you'll find that pre-2010 L322's don't have the bits required for ACC, remember that the D3 and Sport are built on the same T5 chassis and as such share the ability to have ACC as this was available from release for the Sport Smile Land Rover Addict

OK, as regard whether or not it fits, the main pointer will be what exists in the CCF file. If the option is there then there is a chance.

Most of the ECUs and electronic stuff on post 06 FFRRs are Ford based and this includes HDC which is probably the most critical one. Remember that HDC was available on Disco-2 way back before BMW even got involved. It's the bit which actuates the brakes, or at least, it is on the Sport, and indeed was the same on my old Merc E500.

First things first though, we need to see an example of a CCF file from a FFRR 06-09 model. Unless it's an option there's pretty much zero hope.

As regards the functionality, it's nice to have but does have some challenges. Doesn't like heavy spray on the motorway, it's a nuisance if you get some jerk pull into your braking gap as so often happens these days and it is not too good on A roads with traffic coming towards you, albeit on the other side of the road. Speaking personally I much prefer normal CC. Now, if there was a way to have it but revert back to normal CC by turning off ACC then that would be of interest.

IIRC on the 2011 SSRR I had it can be turned off and normal CC used. As I cover a few miles now it would be nice as I tend to pootle on the inside lane behind the arctics so acc would be nice.

On the SSRR I had it didn't seem to have a problem in heavy spray from behind the arctics and worked quite well(possibly the only part that did!!!

I've been told on the D4 forum that the parts exist in the FFRR by Colin I think it was but certainly need double checking.. FFRR MY06 facelift With TDV8 Alloys Zeros/ATR's

Good luck with your insurers when you plough through the back of a Corsa on the motorway.

If i ploughed into the back of a corsa insurer problems would be least of my problems...

TBH If I did something like this I would be testing it a hell of a lot before putting it into real world use as long private roads have their uses at some sites, and also Micks drive if they are busy!! FFRR MY06 facelift With TDV8 Alloys Zeros/ATR's

Hi,
this thread is interesting for me also. Even this died 3 yrs back.

Has anyone done this retrofit? My Rangie would be a jolly place to travel in with ACC. My -07 merc E- klasse had that and I'm missing the function.

Would be keen to swap that wooden look-a-like semi leather steering wheel to full cow hide, along with ACC assy. Radar unit and assy less than 300 quid from ebay, I think...

Please comment, please!

Thanks a bunch!
