May be easier to remove the top dash panel, then you can get at the wires to test ? .

Just had a look on youtube at the removal of the top dash panel and cant see the wires for the windscreen once its off! are you 100% sure that they can be got to by removing it? |

Someone must know how to get to these connections? I have searched all over and just cant find a guide or even a location (other than the bottom of the screen somewhere) Are they under the bonnet or under the dash? |

I had an issue with a windscreen replacement where either, it was defective, or the connectors were damaged during installation. (Solution was a new windscreen.)

Pretty sure they are under the scuttle panel, take the plastic push-in clips out, ease it away from the glass either side and have a look....if correct, you will have to take the A pillar covers off etc to remove the scuttle. |

Sorry, missed your reply, I mean the outer A pillar covers, they wrap over the plastic scuttle finisher, I seem to recall the connections are in front of the passenger, if you look in the wiki there is a copy of the WSM and this will give you a definitive description.... |

Thanks for the reply, I have had a look through the wsm and cant really find much on the heated screen at all. But I will get the scuttle off and have a look. |
