I could with the one in question - C pillars give it away. If someone has gone to the lengths to change the C pillar to make it look newer and possibly added a fake fin (that awkward 2005 year) - then it's more difficult (but the interior would give it away). As an avid supporter of 2012 conversions simply for the joy they bring (nice looking motor for your own benefit for very little bucks) I have to say I like this one: (although I cannot live without touchscreen and prefr the look of the later mirrors)

Loving the green 2012 facelift. Looks great Glen. Has really made me wonder whether I should have done the same instead of buying my later TDV8 and could have kept the spare £7k for fuel. Ho hum

What might have been missed is the wheels were for winter tyres. Here winter can be very hard on alloys. Many people get a second set of rims for their winter tyres and usually go with "the cheaper the better." Those rims in the OP are just fine for winter and allow you to keep the age appropriate ones save and sound until spring. |

Good stuff Glenn. Is the paintwork original on your car, looks very good for a car of that age. |
