I've had a sport 2010 HSE 3.0 V6 and I hated it.

Difficult to say, they are different, like chalk and cheese.

check out the weights, I believe they weigh the same, give or take 50-100kg 2002 FF vs 2006 RRS - I scratched my head when I read it, maybe the FF has helium in it tyres......... |

Definitely the FF. I've recently sold my 2010 3.0 RRS and picked up a 2012 FF TDV8 4.4. It's as night is to day. I liked the RRS well enough, it took us on some pretty serious off-roading towing a heavy camper trailer through the Kimberley/Cape Leveque/Gibb River Rd and never put a foot wrong. At the time I was pretty impressed with the highway ride, but the Vogue is another level altogether.

downsides to the RRS, in addition to the above 'wants to be a FF'.
