Carlos, the USB in the car has the same capabilities for charging as your USB on your PC. So, if it works to charge it on a PC it will work in the car |

you can buy one of these for less than a fiver off ebay if your ranges usb doesnt work..

It charged mine - however you need to make sure you have the correct cable, the early ones didn't have the charging ability (I had to buy an adapter....) Land Rover Addict

To be honest the USB spec allows for upto 500ma on most systems and setups so will charge some phones but be very very slow.

Sorry, Im saying anything you charge for a solo USB port that is built to spec or near to spec will charge at a much slower rate than a good USB Accessory socket charger.
