I didn't go the whole hog but I did the bonnet vent, the side vents and the wing mirror caps.

As mine's red the wheels would look odd and I don't like ugly kid glass. The only sticking point is the grill and in the words of the song "I just haven't got a clue what to do". I am looking for some later rear lights as I like em Very Happy

Thanks for all the input, y'all! I'm loving the extra bits of red there, supershuttle.

I haven't decided what I'm going to do but I'll probably at least do the side vents, hood vent, door handles, and mirrors in java black and decide from there. Or I'll chicken out and do nothing, haha. 2007 Range Rover Supercharged

i kind of like it, but i prefer the standard wheels colour. they look dirty in matt. i had a black p38 that the PO had the windows done, and accents, but standard silver LR wheels, it was nice, but the missus thought it looked too druggy, and youthish,
one thing you have to factor in, is you will sell it ONE day, and dealers (car dealers that is) dont want personallised cars on their forcourts. Also, tastes change over years, and colours could 'naff-out' so, plan a reversible return to standard.
lastly ive seen the front lights on a wrapped 'carbon look' car with the carbonfibre wrap under the light covers. (yes, it was being driven by a rich young asian guy. you didnt have to look.)

I think the FFRR looks better with colour coding EXCEPT for the wheels - IMHO black wheels on a black car are just wrong

Each to their own though - if we all liked the same thing, then life would be very dull Thumbs Up

Stock looks perfect for me. Expensive looking, classy, timeless design. To me at least, your proposed mods make it look like a drug dealers car, significantly devaluing it in my eyes. I eat bacon every day, something I guess the rabbit food munchers of this world would be horrified to hear Laughing So each to their own. If it rings your bell then go for it. 4.4 TDV8 Vogue Baltic Blue MY11

I'd say it looks lovely stock and you're in danger of making it look like Batman's Tumbler... (unless that's the idea?) Regards

Do whatever wiggles your willy. I have never left a single car that I've owned unmodified - but most people have never realized that my cars didn't come that way from the factory. As long as its done well...

And I like Geoff's RR!

My very first 2 record purchases were The Sweet: a 45 single "Ballroom Blitz" and an LP "Level Headed" (Love is like Oxygen). Remember those? Feeling old...

I was very into mods and upgrades in my early days but as I've got older (and less adventurous) I'm a stickler for factory fresh originality now.

I've just sold my TD6 on the basis of being exactly as it left the factory, some people like that.

In my opinion, the black SC pictured with NOTHING done to it is pure class in my eyes. 2006 4.2 SC

I had my spare set of wheels powder coated in matt black and they never look dirty ?. Apart from that my car is as it left the factory in 2002. I prefer the look of the early cars. If i had a later blingy car i'd "up-grade" it to the earlier spec Very Happy .

I'm not much of a car cleaner. It gets used, it gets dirty.
Once a year i get some eastern europeans to give it a wash for £12. Very Happy
