Think its all too common nowadays, hopefully they got the reg of the offending car as there will no doubt be damage to the other vehicle to see as proof.

Actually If you have the reg plate from the cctv and a copy of the video, then it should be a simple case of handing it to your insurers and let them sort it out! There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

What you've said Stan is really interesting. The police refuse to do anything that may have happened on private land but swiftly turn that around when it suits them. The experience that I had was a classic case. I was called to a 999 call to attend an RTI (road accident) but the crash happened on the west of Scotland agricultural college land. Some students had went on a night out in a local village, so they'd all been drinking. They'd parked the car on the colllege grounds & taken a walk back from the night out & picked up the car. However the driver managed to roll the car on the drive back to the student dorms. There were only minor injuries but when I was talking to the traffic police they wanted to do a breath test on the driver. This surprised me so I asked the traffic cop why he'd done a breath test & why he'd been cautioned. The reply was that the driver would be prosecuted as he was driving on land that was the public can enter & walk through. That surprised me

My posting was done very tongue in cheek, I really like taking my FFRR off road & its performance is astounding, but that kind of treatment really upsets the city living & city driving FFRR owners. I couldn't be bothered running a FFRR if I lived in a city. The reason women's minds are cleaner than a mans mind is that women change their minds more often!
