24-25mpg unladen, 19-22mpg fully loaded at 3500kg. I drive fairly slowly with the trailer, esp when it's fully loaded.

Iv had it up plated from 1680 to 1900kg, as when we put two gas bottles, the mover, battery and a few bits of kit we were pretty much full!

Seems to be (depending on model) about even on the mpg with a caravan and although Kurt's (WTF is on the trailer, aero engine?) is a big load it is just about shielded aerodynamically by the FF.

Got 33mpg heading to London back in June with a car trailer on the back, 29mpg on the way back with a car loaded on the trailer. MPG's based on tank refills in London and when I got home. I also stuck to the speed limit...23 hours driving 56 TDV8 Vogue SE

Only had 4 trips out with caravan on back of FF so not had a fair chance on a longer run, though D3 remapped would peak at 26mpg on a decent motorway run...I remember a 26mpg on an N road through france with 1800kg Bessacarr 635GL, 2 canoes, 2 bikes and the odd drop of wine Is this where I put the car details and a bit about myself ?........ |
