I bought one for use on my FFRR (although it would fit any vehicle with a suitable socket) and a CTEK charger, it is an excellent tool and highly recommended. |

I made one up and find it very convenient, I can charge the FF with it s bonnet shut and doors locked so if the worst happened you can't be locked out by a flat battery as you connect to it externally. When I contacted CTEK they said they don't recommend this setup due to the cable length involved but I haven't had any problems other than the battery never shows as fully charged even when left overnight.

If you have towbar electrics the adapter is an excellent idea combined with a Ctek MXS-7 or 10 charger. |

^ I did that with our caravan once. I had it plugged into the socket on the side of our garage and just plain forgot to remove it. Thankfully it broke at the garage end and the caravan socket was ok... Previously..
