Just put on my winter tyres (probably a bit early) and about 75% of the nuts are swollen, I managed to get them on and off but they will become a problem soon, I know this is a known problem but has anyone had them replaced under warranty ? Swollen nuts... How so?

^ The nuts corrode under the stainless skin and expand the stainless so as to prevent the wheel brace from fitting over the swollen nut.

I had to carry an imperial sized socket to fit over my swollen nuts as the OEM wheel brace would not fit on all of them.
I ended up buying a complete set from Dan.
It's a very common problem I believe. Best get your socket set out and get a socket that fits. Keep it in the car... Just in case ! Previously..

Ps... Are we saying they swell in poor weather or just when they reach a certain time of life (had all 4 wheels off a few weeks ago in better weather and no issues at all, aside to spraying some WD40 on a few nuts that were very tight)?

My nuts are also swollen!

Anything you can do youself to release the pressure or do you need to go to a professional?

How about a 7 day course of antibiotics that may sort your nuts !  Far to many gone...

Update on this thread, all were replaced under warranty along with the locking nuts that were showing signs of corrosion.  2021 P400 Silicon Silver AB
