Am I being stupid here or what? I cant seem to reset the mpg counter on the media screen or message centre! its a 03 l322 td6, I have read loads of threads about people resetting them and I have read the handbook but cant find anywhere it tells you how to do it....please help, what the f*@k do I press?

IIRC, there's a hard button next to the screen that looks like a road, with an i on it. Push that and it brings up the road type settings, such as your MPG, speed alert etc.

If I'm wrong, I'm sure someone more knowledgable will correct me.  Present* 2006 Santorini SC Vogue SE.

Click the menu button and you should get something like this.



Go to the consumption one and you should be able to reset there.

Might be wrong though, I switched to mk4 ages ago.

Just been out playing with it a I have sussed it out, I feel a right plank lol only had the car just over 6 months!

The info you crave is not in the handbook its in the 'Audio / Navigation' manual. Mine is same year etc but off the top of my head can't remember exactly 'cos i get upset if I focus on that instead of enjoying the drive so I just leave it alone.

If ya still stuck tomorrow i'll dig out the info for ya and post it right here  Yes I was there but I wasn't directly responsible for that particular part because I was way over there in the corner with my back turned and anyway I wasn't even supposed to be here today
