Periodic check of mpg figures is a good way to keep an eye on engine performance. As engine performance usually degrades gradually over time it often goes unnoticed, something a mpg check will show up. It isn't always about the pennies but often about spotting the missing bhp. 4.4 TDV8 Vogue Baltic Blue MY11 |

I thought he asked a sensible question with regard to his mpg and what others were getting from there cars, and as it turned out he has improved his mpg after getting advise from other members that had replied to his post.

Filled mine today, didn't last a fortnight this time because I only put hundred quids worth in last time. What I have noticed is a 1 mpg improvement (according to on board whatsit) as a result of getting a new rear caliper - oh additional bonus is that the rear offside wheel doesn't get hot.

if you reset your computer, that will read that or more depending on what speed you do , from memory i got about 35 mpg at 50 mph but all that will average out over a longer period when you drive in town adn stop/start... ... - .- -.
