Have you had a stressful day Rolling with laughter

Nothing wrong with checking out something is performing as it should be.

After helpful advice and action seems it is working as it should be now. Looking right now for the FFRR ultimate upgrade

Periodic check of mpg figures is a good way to keep an eye on engine performance. As engine performance usually degrades gradually over time it often goes unnoticed, something a mpg check will show up. It isn't always about the pennies but often about spotting the missing bhp. 4.4 TDV8 Vogue Baltic Blue MY11

I thought he asked a sensible question with regard to his mpg and what others were getting from there cars, and as it turned out he has improved his mpg after getting advise from other members that had replied to his post.

So if he had taken your advise as to not giving a hoot about his mpg, then he would be using more fuel than he is now, because he cleaned the sensors.

Have you cleaned your lately Whistle

Filled mine today, didn't last a fortnight this time because I only put hundred quids worth in last time. What I have noticed is a 1 mpg improvement (according to on board whatsit) as a result of getting a new rear caliper - oh additional bonus is that the rear offside wheel doesn't get hot.
So 26mpg - don't know if that's good or bad but it's better than 25mpg

if you reset your computer, that will read that or more depending on what speed you do , from memory i got about 35 mpg at 50 mph but all that will average out over a longer period when you drive in town adn stop/start... ... - .- -.
