Vote - 4 x Headlight Conversions - Which one?

A voting poll following on from this recent linked post about headlight upgrade solutions http://www.fullfatrr.com/forum/topic21523.html

4 x images of converted 2006 – 2009 headlights (options I’m so far aware of). Which one would you go for?

Image 1 – Forum members Daveo/ Googsy… self completed conversion
Googsy post link from which Image 1 was found http://www.fullfatrr.com/forum/topic15499.html?highlight=halo

Image 2 – autoprestige.co.uk Bradford headlight conversion (£399)

Image 3 – pimpmyrange.co.uk headlight conversion (£399)

Image 4 – Ebay advertised conversion Second image 4A, illuminated (£560)

And our car is silver as well. What a coincidence that your example is in silver! Wink

Your option 5 is very very nice Thumbs Up

1, 3 or 5.

I quite like 3. Very understated.

The abiding factor is to preserve the adaptive function and I'm unsure whether Daveo/Googs conversions work in that respect as they're both pre-2007.

So I suppose, right now, it'd be 3 or 5. Si. <This is my name.

On Image 5... Are those lower front fogs standard on the 2010MY?

I have got option 1 on my car, and my car has adaptive lights. I can confirm the adaptive feature is unaffected by the fitmeant of the halo drl,s.

No need to apol Stan, that's why I've posted, to find out other people's views (and upgraded 'all white' bulbs plus DRL lower front fogs is, as you say, another option. Thumbs Up

Thanks also for the adaptive clarity Prop

Aside to CTC image 5... I've just found myself voting for Image 2 for now, which seems to me maybe like a KHAN esque type look? & not a look I'd usually go for Embarassed

One thing that I feel is worth mentioning is that my main reason for fitting drl,s for me was safety and to make the car more visible to other vehicles and pedestrians. so the visibility factor was very important to me. I have seen the fog light drl,s and while these are bright in my opinion they do not offer the wide angle high visibility of option 1 halo,s. I can't comment on the others as I have not seen them in the flesh.
