My dealer said yesterday they had disco and RRS fixes, just not for the RR yet. No doubt it will appear at some stage.

It's not just LR products that are affected. There are rumors of a potential class action from LR along other manufacturers to seek damages from whoever is responsible for frequency change. MY23 D350 HSE

I don't think it is my imagination, but the drop outs seem to be occurring less frequently now than they were a couple of weeks ago. Anyone else think this? Range Rover 4.2 SC

Greg, I'd agree. But the same reduction in drop-outs happend to me a couple of weeks ago and then they suddenly began to occur more frequently again, so it may just be intermittent. All this occurred on the same journey to/from work. MY23 D350 HSE

dropouts seem more frequent this morning Big Cry Big Cry Big Cry Big Cry
tell you what though ,,,, seems like LR have a higher regard for evoque and discovery customers than the premium FFRR customers seeing that the "fix" is done on their vehicles first
make u wonder doesn't it Whistle Whistle Whistle

Hey Guys

Any updates on this.

I retro fitted a hybrid TV unit to my 2006 FFRR so not sure if this software update will work for me, if and when its available.

My FFRR is booked in for a routine service next week anyway, but I spoke to Guava Land Rover and they know about this software update and the temp fix but are not sure if my car can be updated due to its homebrew upgrade.
I'll have to wait until next week to speak to a technician...I'll post if theres any news.

Just been to my local stealers, Lloyd Landrover Carlisle, and my FFRR is now booked in for 15th Sept for the software upgrade. Will take about an hour to sort.

However, as my Hybrid PAG unit was bought privately (my FF is a 2005 model with touchscreen and my PAG Hybrid TV unit came out of a 2010 RRS), they don't know if I'll have to pay for the update..

At the moment JLR are only sorting out cars that are still under warranty, for the work to be done FOC, so my stealers are going to find out where I stand cost-wise.

Apparently, JLR are claiming the costs for the 'warranty' updates through the various DAB TV/4G Companies.

Could do with Mike from JLR Customer Relations getting an update for us...if possible Bow down Bow down

hi all, I know i'm late jumping on this band wagon, but I have been having problems with my head unit for quite a while, but being a good Brit, I never complain!!!.... Laughing

anyway, just spent the last week in The Lakes/Scotland with the plastic palace, and every two minutes, no matter what mode you are in the bloody thing kept dropping off, almost like someone had cut the power. then a second later the display would tell show the track info or station info etc and all is well again.

I am interested to keep an eye on this. Current: TDV8 (3.6) RRS HSE

Hi Stu,
Change the TV country to the USA and that'll provide a temporary fix, though you won't get any TV picture the audio will stop dropping out. There is a LR fix coming for the FF, I'm told in the next couple of weeks. The Evoque and RRS already have one. 4.4 TDV8 Vogue Baltic Blue MY11
