Heard a few horror story's of people removing the wrap to find the car covered in small rust patches due to condensation between the vinyl and the paintwork.... Someone on the Audi TT forum had this problem I believe! I'd buy a set of handle covers and get them colour coded and perhaps the mirror covers too, your car looks great as is Now: BMW 640d M Sport, Alpine White

I think there is also a problem with cuts in the paint surface caused when the wrap is trimmed at fitting stage. These also corrode when the wrap is removed. |

Got to agree with Craig.... I'd imagine a monte Carlo blue 2010 facelift would look pretty Now: BMW 640d M Sport, Alpine White

I'm with Craig. Somehow covering a FF with sticky back plastic just sounds a bit Blue Peter to me. 4.4 TDV8 Vogue Baltic Blue MY11 |

Ah Craig don't temp me, if I hadn't just bought a new house.. It's completely eaten up all my surplus cash. Unless I can pay for a facelift via washing up and mowing the lawn

The problem we keep seeing is when fitting they need to cut every edge of every panel... I almost defy anyone to go around a car wrapping it without making a couple of slip ups with the cutting... I think there is usually upwards of 20 cuts per panel and each one they try to cut through the vinyl only aplying only enough force when cutting the vinyl to not mark the paint underneath... |
