Well from what I can find out the Lynx is over a grand.

Don't be put off by the price of the IIDTool, it's powerful and useful beyond its price! Thumbs Up Got - 2017 SDV8 Autobiography in Loire Blue

^^^, hum, it is just a matter of deciding if one want the cheapest or the best.

Tiny, über convenient, idiot proof, IID tool is definitely worth the little extra. Thumbs Up l=Oo\________/oO=l l:OolΞΞΞΞΞΞΞloO:l

I ordered the IID based on the price, capabilities, size (so easy to keep in the dashboard) and certainly all the positive threads/posts by the members on this forum about this tool and the customer service... Actually waiting on the delivery right now!! Thumbs Up Mike.

It's your call in the end, but if you search through the archives on here, you'll see nothing but glowing reports about Gap and their now legendary customer service, so if you plump for the Lynx, you'd be in a rather small minority, and you'll lose all the accumulated knowledge of many happy users!
