iOS7 + iPhone 5 + RR Bluetooth issues

After updating my iPhone 5 to iOS7 the car keeps muting or breaking while I am in a call. It repeatedly cuts the phone audio off DAB comes back on, then the RR screen says "call ended" after a couple of seconds the call connects again, mutes the DAB and the caller comes back through the speakers. This process of audio on and off keeps looping round every 10 seconds or so. I believe the phone is still connected as the EE symbol and signal strength are visible all the time.

Has anybody else had any issues like this? Big Cry

I assume by the lack of response (apart from Angel, thanks) that it is my iPhone 5 that is faulty which I can get exchanged. The car is a 2012 model

Try turning off the phone and back on again! There's been many connection issues with ios7 and aftermarket devices!!

I have the exact same issue as d3rm0. Phone keeps briefly cutting out, shows "call ended". This happens every 10 secs or so. Problem stops after 5 minutes of call time. Extremely frustrating.

I have wiped the iPhone and reinstalled a backup with no joy. My 2013 5 Series doesn't miss a beat

I have the same problem, iPhone 5s and 2012 RR, it's getting really annoying, I get cut off for a few seconds and my caller hears my radio, is this just a RR problem or is it an iPhone issue?

I have a 5s with iOS7 and it works fine in my MY11. I do however have the digital TV country selected as the USA to temporarily overcome the intermittent interruptions due to some recent change in the digital program guide transmissions. Maybe this is what is causing your problem? Worth a try I'd have thought. 4.4 TDV8 Vogue Baltic Blue MY11

I thought it was related to the DVB issue but like others I have had the TV set to USA from the beginning. I haven't been driving my FF for the last couple of weeks so I haven't experienced the issue, it's a 12MY. My BMW F10 is a 2013 and is perfect with iOS7 so it does point towards a Land Rover issue. I think it maybe a Bluetooth compatibility issue. All you can do is report it to the dealer.

I have the exact same problem and the TV adjustment as suggested by Baron did not work.
This is really frustrating, any other solutions?

South Africa 2014 Range Rover Autobiography SDV8 Luxor

Tried the TV setting change and if anything it makes it worse.

Its at the point now that I can't even use the bluetooth while driving, which makes it quite frustrating, as I do drive a helluva lot and then lose all they time where I could be calling clients. The challenge is it doesn't happen all the time, particularly when I am trying to show Land Rover service guys the symptoms...

LR managed to drown my whole set of computers in the boot (don't even ask how - they were testing a sunroof leak and thought it wise to throw a bucket of water on the roof) so they have replaced the bluetooth module with a new one, and the issue just gets worse and worse.

The issue doesn't happen when I use my HTC OneS though, so it MUST be some crazy compatibility issue with the i5 and the FFRR bt stacks

My wife has just received a i5S and we will test this in the car when we get a chance. If this works then the solution is obvious.

Any more wisdom on this?

The solution is, switch to Samsung Twisted Evil MY 2010 5.0 SC Galway green and sand interior!!
Have the Faultmate MSV2 Extreme to be tinkering with the settings etc. !!
