Diesel neck filler cap

I Have searched and found this is a much written-about subject, but I think I may have a new issue.

My filler cap - beneath - lower than the metal bit with the rubber seal that attaches it to the rear wing where it is plastic seems to have cracked / broken away from the collar? Difficult to explain but does anyone know of this problem?

I will try and post a picture.

The black bit is definatly cracked / broken, you can see that clearly - it doesnt seem to affect the filling etc, but I want it right. It looks a big job to strip it out from inside - anyone had this before?

Ive had a play about with this today and the black plastic tube is broken away from the collar, I can see the yellow thing beneath it and it wiggles uselessly around. - Dan says the neck comes only as a complete unit and it looks a big job to fit? Anyone any idea how big a job it is to get it off? Confused
