The final stage resistor controls the fan speed so this won’t be your problem in this case. I would have thought it would be one of the motors in the heater unit have failed or is slipping. It could have just got itself confused, I think there is a reset procedure you can do via testbook/rovacom which may be worth a punt first? Take a browse through RAVE on the HEVAC system and how it works etc to get a good overview and work out with your symptoms where your problem lies.

Absolutely no part of that is due to low gas. |
