What do you do to feed your Range Rover habit?

Of no practical use to anyone, just a bit of fun.........Just wondered what we do to afford our chosen steeds?

I'm a valuer for an auction house specialising in modern and antique shotguns and rifles. Rules are made for the obedience of fools and the guidance of wise men.

Being a valuer is fantastically interesting even though I spend most of my life in cars/aeroplanes/hotels. I travel all over the world holding valuation days and looking at all sorts of guns, some of which have amazing stories behind them. Hopefully the owners consign the items for sale and we auction them from our London premises four times per year. Good quality shotguns and rifles are safe money and so far, luckily, we have been unaffected by the economic downturn.

I used to fly but it was a very expensive passtime; passing the PPL is fairly straightforward but for me, keeping my hours up was the difficult and costly part! Having said that, my 4.4 petrol burns more per hour than the average PA 140!! Rules are made for the obedience of fools and the guidance of wise men.

Laughing some of my ex girlfriends resembled Sheep and a few were quite Twisted Evil they could never understand why I didn't want to see them again - inconsiderate or what. Dumped means dumped doesn't it ? how on earth couldn't I find them attractive, am I fat, am I ugly, what's wrong with me. Two in particular were very predatory Sheep Shocked and frightened the living daylights out of me........ Laughing Laughing Laughing

like going for an innocent drink, driving her home, receiving a tap on the shoulder from the girl sat in the back as you were driving and looking in the mirror to see her absolutely starkers Shocked now thats off putting - especially if you didn't instigate it

Glad we haven't had anybody stating that they sell illegal substances for a living (or is that the RRS forum! Very Happy )

Engineering pays for my FFRR/LR habit. Just a shame I can't use my skills to maintain the thing (not owning a Testbook or Autologic). I do miss hitting a Series III with a hammer, fixing the problem and calling it maintenance. All without having to involve a dealer or LRA.
