Advice on buying

Hi all, just registered and after some advice from you knowledgeable lot Very Happy
My 06 disco 3 HSE, on a LR freedom, is due to go back in the next 6 weeks, felt the GFV is to high considering what I've already paid, so time for a change and I hopefully will be going after an 06MY FFRR supercharged.
Firstly not sure if I should use a franchised or independant dealer, haven't got a great deal of confidence in my nearest dealer, but willing to travel if find right one.
Secondly, guide price, with parkers, for an 05 or 55 is a round the 26k to 27k mark, but the franchised and independants have these up for near 30k. The independants also tend to be the higher milers, 50k and above.
What sort of price should I be looking, are the dealers likely to come down to the guide prices ?
Independants finance options also tend to be steeper. Questions Questions !!!

Thanks in advance for any help Smile

of all the models to go for , the SC is the one most likely that you'll get a deal on being the least economical of all (prepare for 12mpg- bit of a shock from 27mpg in the D3)

Try and get the facelift interior with the 6 speed auto and terrain response if you can afford to.

You might want to get in touch with the chaps at our site sponsor, Charles Hurst Park Royal, ask for James I hear.

thanks for the responses,
I did want to go for the 07MY, with terrain response etc (use it alot in the disco) but by the looks of it you could be going up another 6k at least.
