They are seriously unbelievably fast. My lad works for Merc. I've been in them and they WILL leave most things standing.

That's one quick Merc, even if it is an older R1.

A friend of mine has the C63 but an estate, when its in sport mode it really does bang onthe up changes. At very high speeds in a straight line, these big power cars have got the big power bikes beaten.

Nice find! Present* 2006 Santorini SC Vogue SE.
Gone* 2006 4.4 AJV8 Zermatt Vogue.
Gone* 2004 TD6 Bonatti Vogue.

Surprised it went that far without having to refuel.

^^^ Was wondering where that plate went, nice one Craig (sorry, ... I mean GREG Rolling with laughter )

Anyway, I am surprised some people are stupid enough to drive at 300 Km/h on open roads, then put it online !

Don't get me wrong I like speed, this is why I go to race tracks, 200 mph, come on, this is dangerous to other users, walkers, etc. l=Oo\________/oO=l l:OolΞΞΞΞΞΞΞloO:l

I think the AMG cars are all pretty hectic...and a pleasure to listen too...one of our neighbours has C63 too and it sounds superb....but by his own admission if you open the taps it's a very thirsty animal ! Is this where I put the car details and a bit about myself ?........

Absolutely mad to go that fast on those roads. I love going fast but in those conditions is totally nuts.

I have a few friends in Sweden and I hope they never meet these nutters. There is no way where you can see cars or bikes approaching that fast.

Scary how fast bikes and cars have gotten over the years, still haven't had a chance to take my ZZR-1400 to its top speed that should be around 300 kph as well. MY 2010 5.0 SC Galway green and sand interior!!
Have the Faultmate MSV2 Extreme to be tinkering with the settings etc. !!

Fastest I've been is 167mph on a Suzuki Hayabusa. It was at Woodbridge (a decommissioned cold war runway) through timing lights, so I know the 167 is genuine. It wasn't my bike so I didn't push it.

It wasn't very pleasant in all truth, and I was glad when it finished.

Fastest I've been on a public road was an indicated 250kmph on my Hayabusa. It was at night on the German Autobahn and even though there wasn't much traffic it was still difficult finding a gap to go that speed.

Impressive performance from both machines however at those speeds on public roads the dangerous 'what if's' become reality.
Ask any cop, paramedic or fire/rescue what they've seen as a result of 30mph bumps let alone the speeds in the video.
Both driver and rider are a pair of dicks.

However I'd love to drive the Merc around Oulton Park.

C63 is superb Thumbs Up , mine is year old now.. only use it at weekends or on a long journey on my own (wife hates it, prefers the FFRR or her golf), derestricted and power increase by Mercedes from new... awesome, but a handful in damp/wet conditions. put it in S+ use the paddles and away you go! keep thinking about changing it for a DB9 but.... the C63 is also practical..
