There are such engines for 3-4k euros on ebay. Looks like im gonna do it , TDV8 is still very expensive and i wanna try something different, if i can do it im sure its gonna have way better performance than TDV8. |

youll need all the wiring all computers a 4wd gearbox, need to make a new propshaft, new gear selector, reprogram everything, if you pull it off big respect , 2002 td6 vogue, 06 supercharged facelift

yeah i know but what if i keep my 5 speed stock gearbox instead of 6 speed? |

there are people who have had gearbox problems just by chipping the engine, i guess if you put an extra 100hp through it that it wont last too long 2002 td6 vogue, 06 supercharged facelift

a tdv8 is a jaguar/ford engine totally different gearbox 2002 td6 vogue, 06 supercharged facelift

Just for the sake of playing this through - in reality overcoming the electronic problems will be next to impossible to solve and even if you could solve them, doing so would be prohibitively expensive:

haha, nice one mate but 184 bhp is the oldest version of bmw 3.0d. instead of paying fortune for the new engine and gearbox, i'd go for 2010 facelift conversion and try to do with a remapping. |
