Molested, Unmolested or Tastefully Modified?

Thinking about whether or not to do some amendments by changing:

1. The original SC wheels to genuine 2010MY SC wheels

2. The original SC side vents to 2010MY side vents

3. To colour coded wing mirror covers

4. The original adaptive cornering xenons to modified LED/Halo headlights & front fog lamps.

If done properly (and it would be done properly) would this render the car a 'molested' or 'tastefully modified' example'... often read comments about 'unmolested examples' being more desirable?

Might sound like daft questions but the car is lovely as is although these are the mods that presently appeal but not if they would be perceived as cheapening... Views of forum members appreciated.

Thanks Thumbs Up

If #4 involves just fitting the daylight running LED's inside the light units WITHOUT interfering with the adaptive headlight operation, then go for it.
Sounds like just what I want to do. Thumbs Up

Who gives a Censored what anyone else thinks Very Happy

Anything that wasn't a factory option for the year of the car counts as 'molested'

I've always molested mine - I just go with whatever I like the look of Thumbs Up

do what you feel is right Ryan...i'm a great lover of leds/smds , at home and on the range so i'm all for putting some kind of drls on ..

wheels are a personnel liking and the newer sc wheels are very nice..

side vents/ mirror covers , again your choice.. ... - .- -.

Thanks all... Yes, could commission full upgrade if want to but... like the unmolested way it looks now tbh Rolling with laughter

...and was just thinking about these 4 subtle tweaks... Ironically, of all 4 numbered points, the one I fancy the most is the Halo/LED headlight upgrade which is the one some of you maybe think I should give a wide berth (even Googsy/Conor) who did a great job with his Halo's... So just wondering why some feel this is the tweak to avoid?

Thanks again Thumbs Up

Don't worry about the wheels and side vents. Do what you like. If you keep the original vents and wheels, you can easily switch back to the 'full, original look' whenever you want. I wouldn't bother with #3&4, but it's your car.

Yes I did mine and was happy then I wanted to do the conversion as they have the halos you seek. It's a slippery slope trust me Thumbs Up Present :2008 TDV8 HSE
