United Kingdom 2019 Range Rover Vogue SE SDV8 Santorini Black

I've been working from home all week and had no need t go out, not once. By Friday I was DESPERATE to get in the car and take it out, just for the sake of a drive, nothing else, pure and simple. I bloody love it.

I would never have bought the deployable steps, but mine has them, and it always draws admiring glances when you lock and unlock the car and they slide out.

Not many cars have neat little gizmos like that and none have as much presence as a Range Rover. I hope my next one will be an L405. Very Happy Discovery 4 HSE

Ace

Brilliant, all things to all people, infectious cars in whatever variant (SC Members Club post was just a bit of fun to - metaphorically - claw some ground back from the trending 5.0 boys n girls Wink ).

Like velvet to drive, more than enough power if required and completely looks the part.

Fancy just a bit more power Adam, just peen perusing the DMS site and they can remap it to 580 bhp, and just over 500lbf.

Having seen your liking of remapped cars...... There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

Agreed. Thumbs Up

A reworked 4.2 is SO much livlier than standard. Whistle Laughing

Anyway, agree totally about the V8 thing. It's hugely infectious.

Until about an hour ago, I hadn't driven my S/C since Thursday as we were away motorhoming in Norfolk. It was glorious to waft and burble effortlessly into work, dispatching slower cars with complete ease and listening to that fabulous deep, muted burble from the engine.

Just waiting on a price, incidentally, for a good secondhand JE 5.0 V8 lump to go into my 110. Si. <This is my name.

I eat rat poison.

For me its the absolute smoothness combined with immediate power when needed that does it. the TDV8's are brilliant cars but I have always been sensitive to Diesel car floor pan vibration on long journeys and I therefore prefer the complete smoothness and power and cleanliness of the 5.0.

Plus I love the smell of Petrol Laughing
