United Kingdom 2008 Range Rover Supercharged 4.2 SC V8 Zambezi Silver
Ride hight of 4.2SC

Could anyone let me know of the correct on the road ride hight measurement from the bottom of the wheel arch to the centre of the wheel hub as my rear suspension seem to be low at the rear, i have just taken our horse trailer to have it serviced and the service centre tells me that the hight of the tow hitch is a bit low and having now had a look at the back of the RR it sits lower at the back than at the front, the suspension seems to go up and down ok from access hight to off road but it does seem a bit low at the back.

Seems to squat on the back.

Any help would be appreciated

seems like..the IIDTool from GAP diagnostics will get it to whatever height you want, providing theres no underlying problems .. ... - .- -.

Got a ELM327 and a peace of software from RSW that will set up the bags up so they say, i will have to see if it works and report back here, having a nightmare with the people i bought the car off as it is under warranty and they say there is nothing wrong with it although is is 40mm lower than it should be.

Note for SC "club members" Wink ride height is the same as the lowly TD6 Very Happy .

Hi philmc79

As far I know he is right, works only for the '02-'05 BMW canbus vehicles.See here:

http://www.rswsolutions.com/index.php?opti...;Itemid=81

It is a 20 minute job with the right tool to sort out the ride height, so the people you bought it off, if they say there is nothing wrong, show them the datasheet and the measurements you have made. If it is meant to be 483mm +/- 2mm and it is 40mmm out, then there is something wrong!

OBD port is above the bonnet release catch / below the light switch on the Driver's side (RHD) .

Ride height might be the same as a TD6 but the struts and arbs certainly differ Wink
