Give it a good clay session before you use the G220 you don’t want to add to any swirls by getting a piece of dirt in the pad. We ordered the 220 a few months ago but no one had it in stock so I cancelled the order. What product will you be using on it? I’ve had good results with SwirlX but it takes time with a random orbital. Dan |

I was thinking SwirlX but if you say it is hard work, perhaps I'll try the bottom level cutting compound... |

Very nice Edward - Whats that red thing on the o/s/f bottom fender (below the foglight)? - It looks like an IAM mascot |

correct - could not find anywhere better to put it on the RR - I feel it would spoil the look of the main grille.

The other thing my LR man said was the TDV8 is chain driven (Honest John raves about chain driven engines as being bomb-proof) and the BMW TDV6 engine being belt thereby needing an extra cost/risk of failure. They have had a run recently on turbo/intercooler pipes due to the continual pressure/relaxing of the pipes. |

Nice looking car.
The TDV6 is not a Range Rover engine, it's in the Discovery and Sport. The older diesel pre-TDV8 was the TD6 and that is also chain driven. |
