I dumped RAC years ago when they said they would not be able to recover my ff and my twin axle caravan as the van was too long. It actually transpired that if I became a member of the camping and caravanning club then an arrangement with them and the RAC meant they COULD recover my van after all. Taking the p**. Work that one out. Suspect it as something to do with making money somewhere along the line.

Yes, that additional service is an add on £15 year I think but well worth it. This includes taking us to our holiday destination (in uk) if we breakdown on the outward journey then recovering us back home again at the end of the hol. think the AA are the best ,had to call them out a few times with flat battery, last time was at 01;00 outside local Tesco lost all drive thought auto box or transfer box had gone bang patrol turned up 45 mins later arranged for me to be recovered to my home address another 45 mins flat bed turned up driver had a quick look told me it was front prop shaft that had gone, even took it off out side my house at 3;00 am !!!! got his number and arranged for him to fit new one,

so yes AA every time have hawkeye diagnostics for l322 td6 in the manchester area ,pm for deatalis.
