Just heard back from my guy, he stripped the compressor to examine it before ordering a new one, he found that a brass cast filter was partially blocked, he has cleaned and refitted it, and at the moment the suspension is operating normally again.

I have just started getting an intermittant 'BONG - Suspension Fault - Normal height only' fault. It seems to occur when braking slowly & turning right. I have had the compressor serviced with the kit and a new copper thingy put on.

Hallo ebajema, first many thanks for your recommending of my products and my person, very proud! But sorry, my kits are not more available, sold about 400 of them around the whole world, now I have only some for me privat, because I have two RR and one Cayenne 2004 for me private to drive. At island4x4 they have a good Price for new complete compressors, I believe 230GBP, and for the old one you always get 30 GBP from me, so you have to pay 200GBP. The Problem is also very often the pressure sensor in the air-reservoir, and of course first and old struts, which are not 100% perfect in the connection. We will see, because it is often very difficult to decide and give instructions from a distance of 1000 miles. A friend of mine has in Nigeria a great carbusiness, mostly bullet proofed cars (armoured in B6/B7, like this one from me: http://suchen.mobile.de/auto-inserat/bmw-7...res=EXPORT , I make often business with him, he is often in London..., best regards, Uli L405 SDV8 2017 + Lancia Flavia Coupe 1964 + RRS L494 3.0 SDV6 + C220CDI Convertible 2021 |
