Does the dealer have a fix? If so, what is it and what should I ask them for. I find I need to be quite specific with Peter Vardy in Aberdeen. Their engineers are fine but the service is woeful.

As this is clearly a make wide known fault I plan to phone my stealer today to see if they are as utterly incompetent as I think. letters not necessarily in the right order

don't hold you breath
most dealers are dumbasses
charge too much and don't do a proper job
they probably don't put 2 and 2 together and realise most people have this problem and are going down their own little merry way to "solve it" rather than speak to LR technical

What concerns me is the language used in the post by the admittedly helpful chap from JLR;

"A proper fix has been found and SHOULD be released in APPROXIMATELY two weeks time"

Hard to squeeze more caveats in there. 2011 Vogue SE
