Same here - over past week every sound source does the same thing. A power down glitch, led flashes in the power button, short pause then sound comes back.

if it was just the radio then you could blame it on atmospherics or solar flares but as the cd player also goes wacky then its defo a mystery.. ... - .- -.

my 'sensible' theory...the government wants all radio to go digital from 2015 so the BBC etc are adjusting and fine tuning the broadcast antennas to accommodate the increase in digital radio traffic and hence the disruptions...a bit like when TV went digital, there were localised problems then... ... - .- -.

could be a quirk of the fullfat unit..looses station and then thinks it needs to shut down, station comes back and the unit fires up again.. ... - .- -.
