Seat memory module

Hi,

I've had my '08 full fat for about 18 months now and only recently read that the memory save button on the driver's seat control panel should illuminate red when pressed. Mine does not do this and I'm not sure if it's saving seat positions properly. I have three keys and each one sets the seat to the position it was previously in when last started with that key. The three memory buttons all seem to work too.

My question is if there is a fault with the switches, can they be replaced without replacing the seat and how much do they cost?

Thanks in Advance. 2012 Vogue 4.4 TDV8 automatic (LHD), Santorini Black

Seat memory mudule

Do the mirrore( outside one 's only!) change to the correct position for each key? Also the steering wheel position, are these 3settings correct for each key? If these are all correct, the n the. Memory must be okay, and it's just the. Bulb gone? My Indie told me that I must be carefully to step out onto the r unning board and not slide out, which tends to pull the whole sw itch attachment away from the seat, and if this gets damaged, it's very expensive to replace.(I don't know if just one little module is there ) I'd hesitate to change anything there , because of a lamp problem . Range Rover Vogue TD6 2002

Yes mirrors are adjusted when I press the three memory preset buttons and steering column as well I think. Must do a more systematic test to check everything... 2012 Vogue 4.4 TDV8 automatic (LHD), Santorini Black

Are all your keys synchronised for the vehicle? This may lead you to believe it's a memory fault , when it is not synchronised with the other keys. Range Rover Vogue TD6 2002
