My car has a bit of a problem with more than normal brake dust on the rear wheels. Took it to my local Independent and as it needed discs and pads I said to check out and even if one caliper was binding at all replace them both - a proverbial blank cheque. I also said they should check out the function of the EPB while they were at it.

What brake pads were used? Some pads are a softer compound, wearing away faster, resulting in more brake dust. Could be something as simple as that |
