KFP, be careful that's not a permanent live otherwise your battery will go dead very quick... ... - .- -.

Have no fear oh wise one, I just went out and checked that both lights go out along with the interior lights.

Cheers for reminding me though...

Have you had the door open with the car running yet? As some power supplies will make them flash whilst the engine runs... Takes 30 secs though to get flashing... Thumbs Up

Yeah had the engine running and all seems fine but I'll keep the doors open for longer tomorrow just to check all is good.

Seriously though, thanks for all the tips guys!

Touch wood, everything seems to be working ok. I quite like the green glow.

Got mine fitted today. Piece of cake with clear instructions and simple install with a blanked off wiring connection for each side already in the car. A couple of minutes to do each side with a very classy end result. Well pleased Thumbs Up 4.4 TDV8 Vogue Baltic Blue MY11

Yes they haven't got the cut out shape of the others that's why I was wondering if anyone has knowledge of them, they sound too cheap on reflection, usually you only get what you pay for. Agueroooooooooo. 93-20

I think they are scuff plates that stick on the exposed area of painted cill when you open the doors. The original plates will stay in place alongside.

Looks as though you are right about the scuff plates and if you are it seems some drilling of the sill would be necessary and then perhaps some fiddling try to sort out the wiring. I'll leave these alone i think. Agueroooooooooo. 93-20

They might look ok. If they fit on the outset sill, I presume that they'll just stick on with some foam sticky pads. You might have a small section of visibly wiping where it gets fed from the sill into the cabin but you could minimise it by running it along/through the rubber draft excluder thing that goes around the door aperture.

Not sure I would have bought them but they were on the car when I got it.

Must rate as the most useless accessory.

i think they look pretty good but i wouldn't pay £250/300 as seen on ebay ..

the bit i have a problem with is scuffing on the lower sill ..i've seen some stick on sills for about £30 on ebay which look good.. ... - .- -.
