My good luck continues !

Received a call from landrover this morning inviting me to a 3 hour on/off road test drive at Gleneagles in both the diesel and supercharged new sport. I was quite taken with the static display I went to, so I hope it drives as well as it looks.

Well, my brother had a new sport out at the weekend for a drive.... He bought it. Delivery is January.
He has had FFRR's since the classic, continuously. He was going for the L405, but says the sport is super and his wife loved it as well. Looking forward to my drive on Sunday even more now. Previously..

The event is Saturday and Sunday. I too have been invited along, Saturday at 4.30

Unfortunately, too young to have a play, I mean test drive ( ) in the 5.0L S/C, but I'm sure even the diesel will be a much better drive than the previous Sport

My brother was at Gleneagles on Thursday night. He phoned me to say he had counted about 30+ sports together in the carpark. So they would have been good to go on Friday as well. Previously..

They were all out and about on Friday during the day. Not sure if that was open to the general public, or whether they were on a "shakedown" to give them a chance to find/fix any potential hiccups that may occur

The 5.0 S/C is an absolute weapon, and sounds incredible

And, next year, there will be an RRS RS, with 750bhp. 0-60 in 3 seconds
