Interior Change?

OK it's finally come to June 2010 where I can start looking for a RR for the start of July, I'm really excited as I have wanted one since I was 19 and now turning 21 on the 29th I decided to get one and trade in my 57 plate Twingo GT.

Now let's get back on topic - A lot of the RR's I have been looking at have the blue leather interior, I know many people love it but I just don't feel it. So my question is how easy is it to change? Will I just need black seam covers? Whole interior of the bay? Does it have to be from same year as my car (02-06)? How easy would it be to fit RR Sport interior into it?

If you can answer any of the above questions or have pictures of you conversions it would be hugely appreciated!

Thanks
Simon

Er....why?

...each Range Rover is ordered by the new owner (if buying new), and a blue interior is not that common! Black or Ivory maybe.....are you sure you aren't mixing it up with the godawful Sonar Blue of the very first Discovery's!!! Land Rover Addict

Probably only about 5-10% of used RR out there have blue interior!!!

Most will have, Black, Parchment, Grey, Sand or Ivory.

The Leather seats in a RR are an integral part of what you are paying for and we are not talking stretch covers from Halfords here....

Your suggestion that you may be able to switch out FFRR interior for a RRS interior is frankly ludicrous. Shocked

Just find a car that suits and buy it as it is.

I suggest you do a little more research into what you are buying before deciding whether it is the right car for you. Rolling Eyes

It would help if we had some idea about what it is exactly you are looking for , budget etc;
Blue interior is quite rare and no you cant swap an RR Sort interior for a full Fat one and why would you it's not nearly as nice.

I love the blue interior personally. It can be recoloured at upholstery firms but why would you bother if you can just, not buy one in the first place. The seats in the ffrr, all things considered, make the rrs ones look like plastic school chairs. Don't do it Shocked

Ignore all these old fools......Get yourself down to Halfords and get this wicked set for £39.95.....its totally fresh yo!

Also you could remove the front grille and put some sick blue neon tubes in, fill the boot with unnecessary amps and subwoofers and put a big Pioneer or Kenwood sticker in the windscreen Thumbs Up Thumbs Up Thumbs Up

Honestly, a RRS interior in a FFRR? You are clearly young and have lots to learn!

I can't think of anyone on here that would advocate it or want to do it! Discovery 4 HSE

Range Rover Sport Interior fitted into a L322 Range Rover...

WHY THE F@?* WOULD YOU WANT TO?

Rolling Eyes Never seen a blue interior on Black, Grey, Green or Red Range Rover (usually fitted on Blue cars only, maybe Silver)

Idea Why not just purchase a Range Rover with an upholstery colour you do like? Banging Head
