United Kingdom 2005 Range Rover Vogue Td6 Cairns Blue

Just had mine done as the long winter took it's toll and the small pin heads of rust on the edge started to spread up the sides.
I am going to fill with waxol sprayed in while its warm so hope it should last while I have the car.
For info
Tailgate repair,repaint
Bumber repair, repaint (Some T**t in a disco hit it and drove off on a car park only had it a week!)
Door satin black surround, stone chip had let water under paint leaving what can only be described as a spiders web.
Repair to small dent in "C" Pillar trim again satin black looks like someone threw a stick at car.

All in £260 if I delt with the Letters.
Thought that was good price? Mine was a blue one! Smile

United Kingdom 2011 Range Rover Vogue TDV8 Baltic Blue

I've got e related question having just had mine done, not under warranty ( just outside the 6 years so I didn't even ask ) but what can be done to prevent a recurrence. I suppose what I really mean is where does the water get in and what can be done to prevent or reduce the ingress - the drain holes must be there for a reason?

My warranty repairer said that they are instructed by LR to spray waxoil inside the bottom of the door to stop the same happening again. I removed my door trim to check and mine has been done. 4.4 TDV8 Vogue Baltic Blue MY11

Isn't it good to know LR are keeping up traditions on Range Rovers . . .

Elevated driving position - check
Speed boat stance - check
Floating roof - check
Castellated bonnet - check
Rusting upper tailgate - check

Hopefully the new model will continue in the same vain Laughing

Thumbs Up Where do you go after one of these . . . ?
