Are we anal??

I have had a Silver (important) TD6 since 2005, I recently had an aberration and bought a SILVER RRS TDV8, I still have my TD6 but NO ONE has noticed, 99/100 think its the same car and even when pointed out they shrug and say " aren't they all the same", is it me??????? Agree, our brains must work in a different way, how does a FF look like a RRS apart from the color, I despair Yawn Yawn Yawn 2013 L405 Autobiography Baltic Blue

Portugal 2007 Range Rover Vogue TDV8 Java Black

My wife does not care about cars, for her they look all the same, beside the Ranges Rovers.
She always loved any RR, and she hates the RRS and she don't call Range Rover to a evoque!
I love her Very Happy ! Ex-FULLFATTY now downgraded

Yes... I think many people can tell the difference between the 'old shaped ones', the RRS and the L322 but other than enthusiastic car buffs and the type of people who use this forum, not convinced that most people have a scooby do about variations of L322 as they are just Range Rovers...but no more anal than the type of people using forums for other marques.... Maybe a bit more prepared to put up with the many quirks and foibles of these cars against all rational logic though! Big Cry

United Kingdom 2007 Range Rover Vogue Supercharged Zambezi Silver

i had a Volvo C70 in silver which I changed to a silver V70. my family didn't notice
I changed the V70 for the silver Fatty and my Daughter must have had half a dozen journeys before she looked around one day and said "this is a nice car, isn't it" I think I'd had it a couple of months by then

United Kingdom 2007 Range Rover Supercharged 4.2 SC V8 Zermatt Silver

My mother-in-law got into my loaner RRS (black) and didn't even notice it was different to my silver FF until my wife pointed it out.

My 10 year-old son, on the other hand, could identify a S/C over a TDV8 before I could! Si. <This is my name.

I eat rat poison.

A man ain't truly been insulted until he stands buck naked in front of a woman and she didn't even notice. Or care.

I can spot a fakely badged Range Rover from 100 yards away, or a facelift car thats sporting to be something newer when it's not, or a spec that doesnt match the model year....

It's my wife's car...

She antagonises by referring to it as a 'shed' - in the most belittling and cutting way - because it has spent almost more time in the main dealer's bay than the parking space at her work... It's truly immaculate inside and out as well...

I'm just the valeter, general rubbing rag and the 'go between' her and the garage...

And about twice per week, maybe more, she tells me to 'get it sold'!

I rarely drive it and wonder why I bother!!! ... And it's due yet another 3 day holiday with the main dealer next week Banging Head Banging Head Banging Head

When privately referring to it, she often uses an expletive that rhymes with truck! Rolling with laughter
