I was once out (preFFRR) with a friend who 'wasn't into cars.' After two hours in my car, we stopped for food and he tried to get into the wrong car. It was a coupe (I had a sedan), did not look similar, was a totally different colour and a good 15 years older and showing it.

Here, Land Rovers are relatively rare compared to the UK. I am amused by efforts to facelift them. Here, almost no one would notice the differences between a 02-05; 06-09 and a 10+. I'm sure that, unless there were wear and tear clues, If I lined up all three side-by-side, most people here would be hard pressed to determine which was the newest one.

My cousin mistook my Black SC for being the same as the SSRR SDV6 of his future mother in-law. I would have slapped him but it was his wedding day so didn't get the chance ...
