Remove the arch liners and jet wash the whole lot with your garden hose not pressure washer.

Any brand sold at Halfrauds etc will stop the rust coming back its the ingredients not the brand. I give them a quick rub down to remove the surface rust then treat/prime and paint. Job done it does not need fussing over its only surface rust in 9/10 cases. |

I have a set of 2 (for the rear) SSRR arch protectors, that Ducky Dan supplied me with.

These are the parts I have or very similar, there are lots of different sizes for FL2 / Sport etc. I just measured the exposed part of the lip on the rear arches and Dan sent me parts that are slightly longer than required so they could be trimmed to length for an exact fit. There isn't a part for the FF as they were never fitted apparently.

Sorry to hijack a post, but... Mine are doing this too. If the car is under a certain age, is this not something LR will sort out for free under their corrosion guarantee? RR Vogue TDV8 08 |

There's been mixed results attempting to get wheel arches covered under corrosion warranty.

Thanks to budgies help with the paint I have now treated and repainted rear wheel arches both sides. Very pleased with the end result and rather than fitting the rubber strips to cover them I think I'll leave them free so that I can keep the area clean. 2009 Vogue TDV8 Nara Bronze

I have stone chips and very minor surface corrosion as a result on the exposed flange inside each rear wheel arch. I tried a warranty claim but LR declined stating that it isn't a defect but due to outside influence i.e. stone chips. Thinking on it further I'm inclined to agree but thought I'd try anyway.
