Changing front pads TD6

When I change the front pads and wear sensor on my TD6 (2003), will I need to reset the alarm/warning light on the dash?

And will the brakes need bleeding if I'm only changing the pads?
Cheers

I don't know about the warning light.

They shouldn't need bleeding.

I've changed my front brake sensor the other week. No reset of warning light needed (on l322 TD6), but it did not go out straight away but did after I had driven it for a few mins (had same thing happen onto old x5).

As long as you do it correctly you should not need to bleed the brakes.

Cheers all, light went out after about 40 miles (week driving for me), and brakes feel so much smoother and controlled. Be doing the rears in a couple of weeks

Thanks again
