I carried out a parasitic battery drain test this evening. However, I would like to know what the views are as to an acceptable reading? The lowest reading I could get was 0.2 of an amp (i.e. 200mA). However, I thought I should get a reading lower than this but, despite removing each fuse one by one, I couldn't find one that would reduce it any lower and that might be causing unnecessary drainage on the battery.

Damn - not the answer I was after But I had a gut feeling it should be around the sub-50mA mark.

Disconnect the cable from the Jump start post and touch one end of your multimeter to the post and the other end to the end of the cable you have just disconnected.

fully charged battery should show about 12.7v. 13.2 sounds wrong - or was that the reading whilst still attached to the charger when the charger was showing full charge?

13.2v was when it had just had a full charge and was still attached to the charger. I've been using it for the last few days and have done 180 miles, just been out to test it - 12.26v!

i don't normally take a battery reading when the battery is still attached to a charger that is on.

If you have the original telephone installed and don't use it try pulling Fuse 22.

After all that, it would appear the cause of my battery drain was the Ipod not switching itself off! Didn't have it set to "sleep" mode! Cheers
