So I was logging some data with Rev and noticed that my trottle position only ever goes to 78% and that the pedal reads 14% without any pressure and 89% with kickdown. Can anyone with an IIDTool check their values please? I've had a new pedal from Dan but that's not solved it at all. Is there something I can reset to make it read correctly?

Hmm that's what I get. I guess that's normal, or we both have knackered throttles.

Just the fact it doesn't say it opens 100% sets off my OCD!

Not sure if this could happen on a RR but on a previous car it was common for the throttle not to open 100% due to the cable from the pedal to the throttle position sensor stretching.... 2007 Zermatt Silver TDV8 Vogue SE - now sold but was a great car! |

Pretty sure the throttle is fly by wire and is connected to a potentiometer |

It's all fly by wire for the L322. I'm just hoping it's the OBD reading degrees open as % or something. Seems odd that the throttle body wouldn't open more than 78% or the throttle itself 90%. Unless it's a 5v scale and the actual max is not 5v or something daft ...

Or maybe the throttle body servo can physically drive past 100% and its just calibrated that way, I wouldn't worry about it. |
