VX220 vid through the Alps

Last week a couple of VX220 owners from Scotland dropped by as they were on a European road trip.

They made this excellent video just using a gopro. Well worth a viewing. As well as the scenery you can see the new Mercedes S Class under disguise (2:16) and a Marmot given the green cross code treatment.

Unfortunately one of them blew a radiator on the Furka pass and had to complete the trip in a Diesel Polo estate. You can imagine his disappointment!

Great bit of film.... Switzerland is on my TO DO list. It reminds me of Norway, but with much better road surfaces!
Do you have many speed cameras around on these roads? Previously..

New Zealand 2010 Range Rover Autobiography 5.0 SC V8 Galway Green

I just sent it to a friend of mine with a speedster with supercharger, member of the Dutch speedster (EU version of the VX). He loved it. Any idea what types they were, he said one looked like a turbo but sounded like a 2.2 ?? MY 2010 5.0 SC Galway green and sand interior!!
Have the Faultmate MSV2 Extreme to be tinkering with the settings etc. !!

Yes. Sad

For great roads and low enforcement the best place I've found is Croatia.

The red one is a supercharged 2.2. The grey one is a stage II'ish turbo which doesn't have a standard exhaust.

Been meaning to get a Gopro for a while as I do lots of *cough* hero stuff. I was really impressed with the video and he just uses the gopro and windows movie maker. He said don't bother getting the top spec one (the black) as that's more about extracting the consumer surplus rather than added functionality.

Incidentally, the music is all wrong. Should've been Matt Monro on days like these. Laughing

Here's the "Last Of The Summer Wine" version :

Filmed last summer in glorious torrential rain in the Caterham. I have never been so wet before . . or since !

We ended up in Compo's cafe. Wouldn't have missed it for the world !

Thumbs Up Where do you go after one of these . . . ?

Mmmm, Alps in the sunshine or Yorkshire in the p###ing rain.... Need to think about that. Laughing
Caterhams are great, but they ain't waterproof I see. It does look like it would be a great road in the dry.
