Last week a couple of VX220 owners from Scotland dropped by as they were on a European road trip.

Fabulous scenery. Love to take the Rangie for a drive there. If you don't get stuck then you are not trying hard enough.

Great bit of film.... Switzerland is on my TO DO list. It reminds me of Norway, but with much better road surfaces!

I just sent it to a friend of mine with a speedster with supercharger, member of the Dutch speedster (EU version of the VX). He loved it. Any idea what types they were, he said one looked like a turbo but sounded like a 2.2 ?? MY 2010 5.0 SC Galway green and sand interior!!

Yes. For great roads and low enforcement the best place I've found is Croatia.
The red one is a supercharged 2.2. The grey one is a stage II'ish turbo which doesn't have a standard exhaust. Been meaning to get a Gopro for a while as I do lots of *cough* hero stuff. I was really impressed with the video and he just uses the gopro and windows movie maker. He said don't bother getting the top spec one (the black) as that's more about extracting the consumer surplus rather than added functionality. |

Incidentally, the music is all wrong. Should've been Matt Monro on days like these. |
