Seriously, did you know the weather and the car when you said yes to that trip, or were you caught out?

Great vid by the way. What a larf!

. . . Yup - we knew the weather was Censored Rolling Eyes

I viewed the 7 last spring in glorious sunshine and put down a deposit with a view to getting the train a few days later to drive back. Plan B had to be brought into operation due to the snow (!), so I trailered it home.

The weather never really picked up all summer. I kept thinking "I'll take it out when the weather picks up" - it didn't - all bloody summer. So I started taking it out for a laugh in the rain (like the vid), but the weather washed so much debris on the roads I started getting paranoid about the damage. So, after the winter off the road and being "restored" - I got shut of it. It's now for sale via Caterham Austria !

A giggle while I had it though !

Always liked the VX - "the thinking man's Elise"

Thumbs Up Where do you go after one of these . . . ?

Response from my friend with the Opel Speedster (VX220). I sent him the VX in the Alps clip and he loved it.

Translation :
I have a stage II supercharger conversion with as extra removal of the balancer shafts, lighter flywheel, Tullett 2.5" exhasut incl. equal length 4-1 manifold, Eagle conrods and stiffer valve springs. This allows the rev limiter to be set to a higher value (still to be done soon), say around 7400. At present the crankshaft hp should be around 260-265. Weight around 820-830 kg.

The result is below, first test drive on Zandvoort after 1 1/2 year of not driving it !!
