Kind and best regards for this recomment... first the kit seems not cheap, but at the end of the day it is the only way for the suspension-blower-power... L405 SDV8 2017 + Lancia Flavia Coupe 1964 + RRS L494 3.0 SDV6 + C220CDI Convertible 2021

Trist, Great write up.

Can I ask what the output pressure should be? I see yours is now at 11 bar and it was mentioned that there was a software update limiting output pressure to 9 bar.

My issue is, I have a Susp inactive error. I got it read with an autologic and 2 errors appeared, first was it was taking the compressor too long to get to pressure and the second was a front right height sensor. when we looked at the outputs from the sensors, the front right wasn't too far off and it did change when rocking. We then did the software update which allowed the compressor to run for longer without generating an error. This worked for a few trips (3) but now error back. My next move was thinking maybe the front right airbag was the furthest from the compressor so taking too long to inflate. This in my head now makes me think that the compressor is starting to fail.

Can you remove the air pipe and put your thumb over the end to see what kind of pressure there is? 11 bar is 160 psi which I guess would be significant, would this be a reasonable test? 2002 Vogue Epsom Green with Ivory Leather.

Paul, you may be looking at the first signs of suspension airbag failure. This is how mine started going. The front right back had multiple longitudinal cracks in it. I suggest to get the car to offroad height, switch everything off and listen for air escaping. Probably wise to go to a very quiet place. On mine the cracks were "inside the fold" of the bag, so not visible until we removed the struts for front wheel bearing and suspension arm rubber change out.

Then the "too long to raise" issue made sense. MY 2010 5.0 SC Galway green and sand interior!!
Have the Faultmate MSV2 Extreme to be tinkering with the settings etc. !!

Cheers for that.

The only thing I can add is that I left the car for 2 1/2 weeks with the error but the suspension didn't droop so I don't think it's the airbag although I will do the check. Check will have to be at normal height as I can't adjust the height due to the error code 2002 Vogue Epsom Green with Ivory Leather.

If it didn't sink for that long that it is unlikely to be any sort of leak, so you are probably right about the compressor. MY 2010 5.0 SC Galway green and sand interior!!

Help!

Replacing the air compressor today and unsure as to whether the actual air pipe leading from the compressor to the valve just pulls off.

I can see a silver washer where the existing pipe goes into the valve but turning this with pliers just turns and turns.

So my question is does the pipe pull off? I've tried pulling but it isn't moving.... 2009 Vogue TDV8 Nara Bronze

They are all push fit. You need to push the color back into the fitting then pull the pipe out. [img]http://www.fuelly.com/driver/rob2529/range-rover[img/]

Thanks have one this and thepipme slipped off.

One more question...I've replaced the compressor and having started th engine none of the orange suspension lights on the dash are on,not even roand height.

Is this normal and do I now need to get the dashboard error message reset so that the car knows this is a new compressor and will this then pump air in to get it working again? 2009 Vogue TDV8 Nara Bronze
